Trinity College, Dublin now the state-funded and advanced academic wing of *Palestine Resistance* ?

How are our precious and very scarce Irish tax dollars now being spent by Trinity College, Dublin ?

Would you believe in a PhD on -

*Womens Digital Resistance in the Occupation in Palestine* ?

This is the *intellectual* field where Elaine Bradley was listed for 2012 - she yesterday phoned RTE Radio 1 [  who also misleadingly introduced her as simply *an Irish aid worker* ] to complain that in the Gaza conflict, *the 2 sides are not equal*. So what ? War is not Cricket, where each team gets 11 players. What a totally mindless mantra.

Smaller now = right ?

The claim that *Might is Right* is a moral obscenity and absurdity - but equally so is the assumption that *Weaker is Right*. But that such guff is not only trotted out, even by hard-line agitators, but then not at once robustly challenged by any broadcasters, shows how any rationality, clarity and rigor, in both Ethics, and public debate, has now been radically eroded.

Is the [ implicit and unchallenged ] assumption that *Smaller is Right*, some quasi-marxist guff ?

But why be surprised when what was once arguably Ireland's leading and world-renowned [ as well as most ancient ] University, Trinity, can tolerate any topic like Bradley's as worthy of  PhD  [ or even first year ] *study* ?
