That great Thin Lizzy classic, *Whiskey in the Jar* was rousingly rendered at 9.45 PM on Saturday night in FILMBASE by Izhar Ashdot and his 5 vibrant colleagues. Never heard it better played - Phil L himself would have been moved. All of us, whether we happen to be Irish [ Orange or Green or Red or Blue, or mixtures thereof ], or are Israelis [ Druze, Muslim or Christian Arabs, Jews, Sunni Circassians or Bahai ] or are Arabs anywhere across the Middle East, we all need both music and politics that can inspire us and create hope, not sour wreckers who only demonize and destroy. There is no place, in Ireland or the Middle East, for the rejectionists whose destructive dogma regarding their neighbors is: No Recognition, No Negotiations and No Peace.

A small, middle-aged male, a Northern Provo, holding the main Pal Solidarity banner on Saturday night in Eustace Street, was asked about Hamas murdering hundreds of fellow Arabs who support Fatah in Gaza since they seized power in their violent June 2007 coup, and their maiming of many more. And about their savage destruction of the PGFTU trade union. And about their deliberate targeting of civilians in Sderot. His response ? *I care nothing about Sderot*. So much for their pretence of being genuine *Human Rights* activists.

I was given a uniformed Garda escort from Temple Bar and along Dame Street when the film ended at 10.30 PM - due to the harassment and intimidation by the Pal Solidarity mob, who included open HAMAS supporters and Provos. Offering leaflets to people attending any event or venue is legitimate but not their tactic of mass picketing, harassment and open intimidation, including interruption of films. Such bullying by the sinister Triple Alliance which is the hard-core of Pal Solidarity agitators [ de-commissioned Provos, ultra-left Trotskyite revolutionaries, and Hamas Jihadi groupies ], needs to be seen for what it is, and vigorously resisted. The issue now is: Tyranny or Freedom on our streets.
