The Foreign Policy *principles* of candidate for President of Ireland, the hard-left Galway TD, Catherine Connolly

 Connolly says we cannot trust France, USA or UK - but she also vehemently defends the  Irish Tripe Lock law where the Sovereign Iriesh Parliament  [ uniquely  on earth ] has signed over to UN Security Council a VETO on the overseas deployment of Irish troops on UN  missions

Yet that unique Veto  gives absolute power to 3 States -  France, USA and UK-  whom she says she does not trust.

Logic  ?

Consistency ?

Principled ? 

OR  possibly - some other agenda  ?  But no mentin  of not trusting  the 2 other permanent UN Security Council powers -  PUTIN and Xi - who also have the same absolute Veto over the Sovereign Irish Parl
