DoD Cyber Command is officially online - Army News | News from Afghanistan & Iraq - Army Times

90,000 people handle 15,000 DoD netwoks. This new Cyber Command co-ordinates US Armed Forces capability in the US Army [including 9th Signals Command - computers ], US Navy 10th Fleet and 24th US Air Force, and it is focused on cyber operations, cyber warfare, cyber security, and cyber Intel - its targets are foreign actors, terrorists, criminal gangs and hackers - Tehran and Pyonyang, take very careful note. Will this new US Cyber Command, under newly-promoted 4-star General Keith Alexander, now investigate the emerging *Stuxnet malware* which is mainly penetrating Iranian facilities [ see recent CS Monitor story ] - or could it even have created it ?
