McGuinness has inflicted a massive Own Goal on his movement - the Provo Sinn Fein vote along the Border has slumped by an overall 25% against their March 2011 General Election vote - they have 5 TDs [ = MPs ] in those Counties but - based on this disastrous performance - now no hope whatever of gaining an extra seat in any of them.
Did the exposure during the campaign of many Provo IRA atrocities perpetrated by them South of the Border - including their kidnap and murder of a County Louth farmer, Tom Oliver, a neighbor of the Independent candidate Sean Gallagher - do them serous damage ?
Or their hiding in a remote farmhouse in South County Cavan [ in Greaghnadarragh Townland, NW of Mullagh village ] of Kevin Walsh, the Provo IRA Murderer of Detective Jerry McCabe ? Plus the astounding revelation [ testified by the couple who hid Walsh, in their Statements in the State's Book of Evidence in the Murder Trial of Walsh and 3 other Provo IRA criminals ] that BOTH McGuinness and Adams visited Walsh while he was hiding there ?
They also failed to gain votes or even lost votes in many Constituencies where they won a seat in 2011 - in the Dublin South-West Constituency [ Tallaght ], they had regained a lost seat with 8,064 votes [ won by Sean Crowe who has no criminal convictions ] but McGuinness won only 6,006,064 votes here.
They have revealed themselves to be a fringe party, out of touch with the values and needs of people in the Republic - and with no hope of any break thru - in a context of serious economic crisis, a famous candidate, massive funds and a party-machine of fanatical zealots. They have peaked and can go nowhere. The few extra votes they gained are scattered and are of no electoral use to them.

They murdered in the republic 6 Gardai plus a Chief Prison Officer and a soldier.
But poor Martin has such terrible Amnesia - he cannot recall that. And he cannot recall any of the terms of his IRA Oath. Just as he could not recall being there when his goons threatened senior Irish Times journalist Peter Murtagh in Derry as he tried to interview the Hegarty Family - their Frank had been kidnapped and murdered by McG's PIRA thugs.

Sinister RTE 1 TV News manipulation - start of 6 PM News, brief verbal mention of McCabe Family Statement but only image on screen is of a sweetly-smiling McGuinness, greeting and hugging people. Not one shot of the bloody body of Jerry McCabe. Not one of him before PIRA murderer KEVIN WALSH butchered him. Not even one shot of the Adare murder scene.
The Limerick Leader sent RTE the crucial story last night. Yet no-one from that paper was contacted. No Family spokesperson is included. Story is twisted by RTE into Martin asserting - once again - his total innocence of anything. Buried - jointly by Provo Sinn Fein and RTE - before it is even heard.

That is sinister news manipulation. The regional newspaper which carried the McCabe Family Statement, the Limerick Leader, was not even contacted nor, it seems, were the McCabe Family whose Statement had revealed this crucial news.
